I’ve been meaning to post this video blog for a long time. Josephus revealed four main sects of Judaism, the Pharisees, Sadducees, Essenes, and Zealots. There are three sects of Judaism that are clearly revealed in the New Covenant Scriptures. In Acts 5:17 we see the Sadducee sect declared, “But the high priest rose up, and all those who were with him, which is the sect of the Sadducees; and they were filled with jealousy.” The Pharisee sect is shown in Acts 15:5, “But certain men who believed, who belonged to the sect of Pharisees, stood up and said, “It is necessary to circumcise them and to command them to keep the Torah of Moses.”” And in Acts 26:5, “They knew me from the beginning and they should admit that I lived as a Pharisee, a very strict sect of our religion.” Of course, the sect we are most interested in is the Nazarene sect, as revealed in Acts 24:5, “For we have found this man to be a pest, and one who causes all the Jews throughout the world to rebel. He is a leader of the Nazarene sect.” And in Acts 24:14, “But I admit this to you, that according to The Way that they call a sect, in that same Way I serve Yahuwah of our forefathers. I am faithful to all that is in the Torah and the writings of the prophets.” Luke ties the two sect names together, Nazarene sect and The Way. The name of the sect, The Way, ties the New Covenant believers to the First Covenant believers. You can do a search in the Son Of Man Bible on The Way(s), or just Way(s), and find some great Scriptures that show Yahuwah’s children in the First Covenant Scriptures. You could also just research Strong’s # H1870, Derek, or Ha Derech, The Way. Strong’s number 1870 is used 706 times in the First Covenant and many times it relates to walking in Yahuwah’s Way of life. It is a word that relates you personally to the First Covenant. Reference Genesis 18:19 and Deuteronomy 28:9. Also, Jeremiah 6:16, “Yahuwah says this, “Stand at the road crossing and look; ask for the ancient pathways. ‘Where is this good Way?’ Then go on it and find a resting place for yourselves. But the people say, ‘We will not go.’” Yahuwah’s people of faith have always walked in The Way, which is of course, His Way of life. Yeshua reveals to us that those in The Way are the people known as the Nazarene or Natsari sect.
Those who believe in Yeshua haMashiach, Jesus Christ, belong to The Way, or the Nazarene sect. Some call this sect the Natzarim or Natsari sect. Spellings vary among congregations, like Netzarim or Netsari. We follow Messiah Yeshua of Nazareth (the town and community where Yeshua grew up). Those of us who follow Yeshua of Nazareth are known as the Nazarene, or Natsari sect. Natzarim accept Yeshua of Nazareth as their Messiah. Jews who believe in and follow Yeshua of Nazareth as their Messiah are the Natzarim. Believers in The Way are following Yahuwah’s Way of life and Yeshua, who is The Way. John 14:6, “Yeshua said to him, “I AM The Way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me.” By following The Way, Yeshua, we are fulfilling Yahuwah’s will for our lives, to walk in His Way, which is The Way of the Natsarim, The Way of the Torah observant lifestyle. It is The Way of salvation, or The Way of the saved.
We believe in the Torah and the whole Tanach. We strive to follow and obey as much of Torah as can be applied to our personal lives today. We don’t do animal sacrifices anymore, because Yeshua is our ultimate sacrificial Lamb. We observe the seventh-day Sabbath. We observe all of Yahuwah’s feasts. We observe the 360-day biblical solar calendar for our appointed holidays, which begins with the day after the Vernal Equinox and ends a few days before the following Vernal Equinox. Yahuwah may re-adjust our solar year back to the biblical 360-day year before the end time prophecies are totally fulfilled, but it is not absolutely necessary for Him to do so, that’s up to Him.
In these end times, I personally believe the 144,000 sealed believers in the Book of Revelation, chapters 7 and 14, are Natsarim, followers of The Way, or the Nazarene sect. Those that follow the Commandments of Yahuwah and have the testimony of Yeshua are Natsarim. You cannot say that about Sunday go-to-meeting Christians. Revelation 12:17, “Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war with the rest of her descendants, those who obey Yahuwah’s commandments and hold to the testimony of Yeshua Messiah.” That woman is our Jewish root of whom we are her descendants, the Natsarim. Satan is going to come down to cause us trouble during the Tribulation. I hope you are ready to face Satan’s tribulation, and I hope you are prepared to meet your Creator Yeshua haMashiach. (You will not believe what just happened as I was typing that last sentence. My computer just rebooted itself, right in the middle of my typing!!) Folks, we are so close to the Tribulation years, I can smell the horses and fiery chariots of Heaven charging towards us now!!
Satan has tried for 2,000 years to hide our identity, to confuse who we are with pagan religious groups like Jews, Catholics, Christians, and now even with Muslims. We are not part of any of those groups, we are the Nazarenes, the Natsarim!! If you carry the mark of Yahuwah and are sealed in Him, you won’t have to worry about the mark of the Beast, you’ll make the right decision. We will soon be reigning on earth with Yeshua for the next 1,000 years. Get ready for a wild ride home!
