Ezekiel 18:13, “Suppose that he lends charging interest or gains too much profit. Should he live? He will not live! He has done all these disgusting actions. He will surely die, and his blood will be on him.”
The Torah teaches that it is perfectly ok to charge interest to foreigners, outside of the Commonwealth of Israel. But we are not to charge interest to our brethren, our fellow believers, for any loans made to them. (Exo. 22:25; Lev. 25:36-37; Deut. 23:19-20; Neh. 5; Psa. 15:5; Prov. 28:8) That seems reasonable to me. The part that is tough to swallow is the capital punishment for charging interest to your believing brothers! Charging interest to Yahuwah’s people is punishable by death. Take note of that law bankers and money lenders. Payday is coming. Hope you enjoyed your unjust gain for a season.
But what about this gaining of too much profit? Is that also a capital crime? Looks like it. That is Yahuwah speaking there in Ezekiel 18. Look at verse 4, “Behold! Every life belongs to me, the life of the father, as well as the life of the son, belongs to me! The soul who sins is the one who will die!” Yahuwah is delineating the sins of his people in Ezekiel 18. It looks like financial sin is a capital crime, punishable by death. I don’t see any wiggle room here.
I suppose a construction company that charges cost plus 10% profit is reasonable, even 20 or 30 percent profit seems reasonable. But 100 or 1,000 percent profit is not reasonable. It would be sin. And is punishable by death. It may not be punishable by death in any human court of law, but Judgment Day is coming. Yahuwah is going to audit the books of every businessman or woman who ever lived. Think about that for a minute. Are you ready to have your financial records audited by your Creator? Have you been a good steward of your finances? Do you charge too much interest on loans or past due accounts? Do you make too much profit? If you do, you will die on Judgment Day. I didn’t write these rules, Yahuwah did.
Yeshua stated in Matthew 10:28, “Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul. Instead, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Yeshua knows what he is talking about. A healthy fear, or respect, for your Creator can save your soul from hellfire. I highly recommend you give your life to Yeshua today. Let him save you today. Make him your Lord right now. There is little time left on our human timeline. The end is coming upon us so rapidly that it makes my head spin. The mark of the beast is bursting upon the scene across the globe. LA County now says you cannot go into a bar or concert without proof of vaccine. That’s a de facto mark of the beast system. We’ve all been left behind. Welcome to the years of tribulation.
