PROSPERITY WILL COME IN THE MILLENIUM
John 10:10, “The thief does not come except that he may steal, and kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life and may have it abundantly.” The question is not whether or not Yeshua wants us to prosper, the question is when does he want us to prosper? In this life, or beginning in the Millenium? I believe if you will read the following verses, you will gain the understanding that Yeshua and the Father truly want us to prosper, but beginning in the Millennial Reign of Yeshua, after he returns to earth and sits on his throne in Jerusalem. Yeshua wants us to prosper for all eternity, throughout his eternal Kingdom, not necessarily only in this life of flesh. John 6:63, “It is the Spirit that gives life. The flesh does not profit, nothing! The Words which I speak to you are spirit and are life.” What you want to gain in this life is life in the Spirit of Yehovah. That way, you will be in a position to prosper in His eternal Kingdom, once the King returns at His Yeshua Advent 2.0.
Matthew 6:25-34, “Because of this, I say to you, Do not be anxious for your soul, what you eat and what you drink, nor for your body, what you put on. Is not life more than the food and the body than the clothing? 26Observe the birds of the heaven, that they do not sow, nor do they reap, nor do they gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Do you not rather excel them? 27But who of you by being anxious is able to add one cubit onto his stature? 28And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They do not labor nor do they spin, 29but I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory was clothed as one of these. 30If Yehovah so enrobes the grass of the field, which is today, and is thrown into a furnace tomorrow, will He not much rather you, little-faiths? 31Then do not be anxious, saying, What may we eat? Or, what may we drink? Or, what may clothe us? 32For after all these things the nations seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. 33But seek first the kingdom of Yehovah and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. 34Then do not be anxious for tomorrow. For the morrow will be anxious of itself. Sufficient to each day is its own trouble.” Life is much more than material possessions. Life in the Spirit is the beginning of abundant life.
Luke 21:34, “But beware in yourselves that your hearts never become heavy by excessive drunkenness and by distress of the world, and that day should come suddenly upon you. . .”
John 15:19, “If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you.”
Proverbs 23:4-5, “Do not labor to be rich, cease from your own understanding. 5Will your eyes fly on it? And it is not! For surely it makes wings for itself, it flies into the heavens like an eagle.” Material riches can disappear as quickly as they come to you.
Psalm 37:16, “A little to the righteous is better than the abundance of many wicked.” Be grateful for the good things that you do have.
1 Timothy 6:17-19, “Charge the rich in the present age not to be proud, nor to set hope on the uncertainty of riches, but in the living Divine One, who gives us all things so abundantly for our comfort; 18that they do good works, and become rich in good deeds, ready to give, and willing to share, 19treasuring away for themselves a good foundation for the coming age, that they may lay hold on everlasting life.” Your investment into Yehovah’s kingdom is building you a foundation to live on for all eternity. You need a foundation that survive the coming fires of Yehovah’s judgment. You do that by giving financially into good gospel ministries and by taking care of the widows, the poor, and the orphans.
1 Samuel 8:19, “And the people refused to listen to the voice of Samuel, and said, No, but a king shall be over us.” Humans are so worldly minded. We always want to be like our neighbor.
Matthew 16:24-26, “Then Yeshua said to His disciples, If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and let him bear his torture stake, and let him follow Me. 25For whoever may desire to save his life will lose it. But whoever may lose his life for My sake will find it. 26For what will a man be benefited if he should gain the whole world, but forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give as an exchange for his soul?” In this life, your soul’s salvation should be your priority. You can gain more of the earth’s wealth after this life, just by living and growing in Yehovah’s eternal kingdom.
James 4:5, “Or do you think that vainly the Scripture says, The pride dwelling in us lusts with envy?” We need to control our greed and lust for material possessions in this life.
James 5:1-8, “Come now, rich ones, weep, howl over your miseries that shall come upon you. 2Your riches have rotted, and your garments have become moth-eaten. 3Your gold and your silver have rusted; and the rust of them will be a testimony against you; and it will eat your flesh. The treasures that you have heaped together shall be as fire to you for the latter days. 4Behold, the wages of the workmen who have reaped your fields cry out, being kept back by you. And the cries of the ones who have reaped have entered “Into the ears of the Master of Tzavoath (Hosts).” You lived luxuriously on the earth, and lived for self-pleasure; you nourished your bodies for the day of slaughter; 6you have condemned and murdered the righteous, and yet he does not resist you. 7Therefore, brothers, be patient until the coming of our Master. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it until it may receive the early and the latter rain. 8You also be patient. Set your hearts firmly, because the coming of our Master has drawn near.” The rich have a special judgment waiting for them. They will not be able to buy their soul’s salvation. Believer, trust in Yeshua for all your needs until your final breath, and your reward will be great in the heavenly kingdom.
1 John 2:15-17, “Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him, 16because all that which is in the world: The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17And the world is passing away, and its lust. But the one doing the will of Yehovah abides forever.” And what is the will of our Father? To love Him and to love our neighbor as ourself.
Job 21:7-15, “Why do the wicked live? They grow old, and become mighty in power. 8Their seed is established with them before their face, and their offspring before their eyes. 9Their houses are in peace, without fear; nor is the rod of Yehovah on them. 10His bull passes semen and does not fail; his cow calves and does not miscarry. 11They send their little ones out as a flock; and their children dance. 12They lift up a voice at the timbrel and lyre, and rejoice at the sound of the flute. 13They spend their days in good, and in a moment go down to Sheol. 14And they say to Yehovah, Depart from us, for we do not desire the knowledge of Your ways. 15What is the Almighty, that we should serve Him? And what do we profit if we entreat Him?” The wicked, which includes many rich, will come to a quick and final end.
Psalm 49:16-20, “Do not be afraid when one becomes rich, when the glory of his house increases; 17for when he dies he shall take nothing; his glory shall not go down after him. 18For in his life he blessed his soul; yea, men praise you when you do well for yourself. 19He shall go to the generation of his fathers; they shall not see light forever. 20Man, though high in honor, but not understanding, is like the animals; they shall be cut off.” If you desire to be rich in this world, you’d better have your heart right before Yehovah. Will you be able to handle the wealth for His kingdom?
This world is not our final destiny. Our destiny lies in the Kingdom of Yehovah and of His son Yeshua HaMashiach. Do not get so attached to this world that you forget where you are going in Yehovah’s kingdom. We are so close to the finish line in this earthly human race, don’t sell your soul out for a few morsels of bread.
