Pros of Capital Punishment
Leviticus 24:17, “Whoever kills (murders) any man shall surely be put to death.”
Numbers 35:30-31, “Whoever kills (murders) a person, the murderer shall be put to death on the testimony of witnesses; but one witness is not sufficient testimony against a person for the death penalty. 31Moreover you shall take no ransom for the life of a murderer who is guilty of death, but he shall surely be put to death.”
Israel’s plan to release 1,027 Palestinian terrorists for 1 Israeli soldier is an offense against Yahweh and His Word. Numbers 35 is clear that no ransom is to be offered for the life of a murderer. This is just more proof that Israel is just another secular humanist state with no respect for their Creator. Gilad Shalit, nor 30 shekels of silver, can be paid for the lives of those murderous terrorists. They should have been executed within days of their arrests. If they had been executed, there would be no discussion today about the pros and cons of releasing these evil people. They would already be rotting corpses in the ground as atonement for the defiled land of Israel. There are no cons to capital punishment.
As long as Israel continues to be an affront to Yahweh, they will continue to be a target of terrorism. Until they come to faith in Yeshua, there is not much hope for Israel as a nation. The Scriptures are pretty clear that Israel will be spanked (judged) at least one more time before Yeshua returns to establish His Messianic Kingdom on earth in Jerusalem. Pulling a stupid stunt like they are doing this week, making deals with devils, guarantees their spanking. They are not called the children of Israel for nothing. They still act like arrogant, ignorant, spoiled brats that still need their Father’s correction. Well, He’s up to the task, but is Israel ready to pay the price?
Israel has gone down hill since 1993 when they decided to negotiate a covenant of death with the devil, called the Oslo Accords. There is not enough land on earth to make a land for peace agreement with Yahweh’s enemies. Moses continues in Numbers 35:33-34, “So you shall not pollute the land where you are; for blood defiles the land, and no atonement can be made for the land, for the blood that is shed on it, except by the blood of him who shed it. 34Therefore do not defile the land which you inhabit, in the midst of which I dwell; for I Yahweh dwell among the children of Israel.’” Since Israel refuses to obey Yahweh and atone for the blood-defiled land, Yahweh will hold them accountable. Capital Punishment may not be politically correct, but it sure keeps the land pure and the society in order. There are no cons to capital punishment.
Please don’t get me wrong. Yahweh loves those murderous Palestinians just as much as He loves you or me. It’s true that Yeshua died for their sins, but if they don’t repent of their sins, they’re still lost and headed for the hot fires of the Lake. Even if they all had converted to Christianity or Judaism while in the Israeli prison system, they should still be executed for Yahweh’s sake and for the sake of the Israeli society. This is not hate speech; it is truth and justice. Humans have no concept of truth, equity, or justice apart from Yahweh’s Word. The Israeli, American and every society on earth is sick. Yeshua is the cure and His Torah is our guide to living together in peace and harmony until He comes back to clean up this mess.
Until Yeshua shows up, I pray for Israel’s, and our, tormenters that Yeshua would reveal Himself to them and save them. You want peace, prosperity, and security on this planet? Follow Yeshua. Capital punishment is the best we can do as sinners on this planet to satisfy justice. There are no cons to capital punishment. Capital punishment maintains order in sinful societies. Capital punishment is a gift from Yahweh; our societies just need to use it judiciously.
