Our drink for today comes from the Book of Jeremiah, chapter 51. It’s a very long chapter, so we will only look at a couple verses. Jeremiah received this word against Babylon in the 30th year of a Jubilee Cycle. This word came to Jeremiah in the same year in which Ezekiel began his prophetic ministry, which was Ezekiel’s 5th year of captivity in Babylon, the fourth year of King Zedekiah of Judah, in 3533 = 514 BCE.
First, let’s look at verse 34, “Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon
Has devoured me, he has crushed me; He has made me an empty vessel, He has swallowed me up like a monster; He has filled his stomach with my delicacies, He has spit me out.” The stories in the Old Covenant are examples for us, the believers at the end of the ages. The parallel for us is what Mystery Babylon is doing to us today. Is not the beast system today crushing us, emptying our lives of our very livelihood? Are not believers around the world being spit out of their own nation, rejected by their humanistic, or communistic, or Islamic regimes? The evil leadership fattens their belly on the labor of the lowly worker. What was happening in the last days of the Kingdom of Judah is exactly what is happening to Yahweh’s people today. The evil spirit that was behind Nebuchadnezzar’s Babylon in the 6th century BCE is the same spirit that is behind Mystery Babylon that is harassing Yahweh’s people in the 21st century CE. Mystery Babylon will crush us today, but Yahweh will crush Mystery Babylon in one hour. Rev. 18:9-10; 17-19, “The kings of the earth who committed fornication and lived luxuriously with her will weep and lament for her, when they see the smoke of her burning, 10standing at a distance for fear of her torment, saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! For in one hour your judgment has come.’. . . 17For in one hour such great riches came to nothing.’ Every shipmaster, all who travel by ship, sailors, and as many as trade on the sea, stood at a distance 18and cried out when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘What is like this great city?’ 19“They threw dust on their heads and cried out, weeping and wailing, and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city, in which all who had ships on the sea became rich by her wealth! For in one hour she is made desolate.’” The beast spirits have their day and hour to beat down Yahweh’s people, but they will be made desolate themselves. Yeshua will destroy them at His coming. Many believe today that Mystery Babylon is America. If that’s the case, our doom as a nation is assured. The trials and tribulation that we are going through today purifies and purges sin from us, but our tormenters will face their just end.
Jeremiah 51:45-46, “My people, go out of the midst of her! And let everyone deliver himself from the fierce anger of Yahweh. 46And lest your heart faint, And you fear for the rumor that will be heard in the land (A rumor will come one year, And after that, in another year A rumor will come, And violence in the land, Ruler against ruler),” We deliver our soul from Yahweh’s wrath by repenting moment by moment, walking in a humble spirit of repentance. Yeshua said wars and rumors of wars would come, but faint not, the end is not yet. Mt. 24:4-8, “And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. 6And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8All these are the beginning of sorrows.” Strengthen yourself in Yeshua now, because we are just seeing the beginning troubles upon the earth. The worst is yet to come, then the Best will come, in all His glory and majesty. As the nations on earth prepare for war, Yeshua is also preparing the armies of the host of heaven to fight for His people Israel, the Church. We will be delivered in the end, but we are going to see things on this planet that have never been seen before. Just prepare your spirit, seek Yeshua with your whole heart. It won’t be long and Yeshua will send the angelic harvesters to reap the final great harvest of souls into the Kingdom of Yahweh. Once that harvest is done, watch out, for then His wrath will be poured out on mankind.
Jeremiah 51:51-52, “We are ashamed because we have heard reproach. Shame has covered our faces, For strangers have come into the sanctuaries of Yahweh’s house. 52“Therefore behold, the days are coming,” says Yahweh, “That I will bring judgment on her carved images, And throughout all her land the wounded shall groan.” The Church of Yahweh has reason to be ashamed today. We are allowing homosexuals and lesbians into the leadership of the Church. The Church is embracing every pagan and humanistic religion with all its might. The Church is rapidly becoming an abomination of desolation. It is apostate, but that was predicted by the Apostle Paul over 1900 years ago. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4, “Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called Yahweh or that is worshiped, so that he sits as Yahweh in the temple of Yahweh, showing himself that he is Yahweh.” The brood of vipers is in the sanctuary! That is why Jeremiah said what he said in verse 45 above, “go out of the midst of her.” That’s why the heavenly voice told the people in Rev. 18:4-8, “And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. 5For her sins have reached to heaven, and Yahweh has remembered her iniquities. 6Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her. 7In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, ‘I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.’ 8Therefore her plagues will come in one day—death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is Yahweh Almighty who judges her.” Friends, separate yourself from the beastly system today, or face her judgment tomorrow. Seek His face, pray for the peace of Jerusalem, worship Yeshua only. The Great Tribulation, which is screaming toward us at an alarming rate of speed, is all about who are you going to worship. If Satan is god, worship him; if Yahweh is God, worship Him. Just make up your mind so the angels can mark you appropriately for harvest.
John 4:13a, 14, “Jesus answered and said to her, “ . . . whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.””
