The word today begins with Psalm 78 and goes through Isaiah 56-58. Here’s what Asaph had to say in Ps. 78:1- “Give ear, O my people, to my law; Incline your ears to the words of my mouth. 2I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings of old, 3Which we have heard and known, And our fathers have told us. 4We will not hide them from their children, Telling to the generation to come the praises of Yahweh, And His strength and His wonderful works that He has done. 5For He established a testimony in Jacob, And appointed a law in Israel, Which He commanded our fathers, That they should make them known to their children; 6That the generation to come might know them,The children who would be born, That they may arise and declare them to their children, 7That they may set their hope in Yahweh, And not forget the works of Yahweh, But keep His commandments; 8And may not be like their fathers, A stubborn and rebellious generation, A generation that did not set its heart aright, And whose spirit was not faithful to Yahweh.” What we say and do, we do and say for our children, whether or not they listen and follow is up to them. Yeshua stated in Matthew 19:14, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” We are all children no matter our age, and all of us must come to Him to drink in His living water of life. Drinking in Yeshua is not the problem, getting folks to repent and turn to Him for His living water, that’s the tough part. But that is Yahweh’s work, we only need to speak and write His words. That’s the easy part, when we listen to what He wants us to say or do. Christians get all defensive when you start talking about obeying Yahweh’s commandments. Why? He’s our Father and knows best how we should live. The problem of course is the rebellion in our hearts. Our heart is an open book to Him; He can always see what’s in our heart. We don’t see it until He reveals it to us. The key is to repent when he does reveal our sin to us.
We now turn to Isaiah, a man humbled and humiliated for the glory of Yahweh. Open your Scriptures to Isaiah 56:1 BUT DO NOT READ PAST THIS VERSE FOR A MOMENT, “Thus says Yahweh: “Keep justice, and do righteousness, For My salvation (Hebrew word Yeshua, meaning Jesus) is about to come, And My righteousness to be revealed.” Let that word soak into your spirit, I mean deep into your spirit. Isaiah wrote that over 2,600 years ago. The return of Yeshua is what the Kingdom is looking for right now, waiting expectantly, anticipating His glorious coming and the establishment of His perfect government over this ungodly earth. Did Isaiah expect Yeshua to show up soon? Of course he did, Yahweh said so. All saints of all ages have always been looking for our blessed Redeemer to show up in their day, but the end of days was not for them, it’s for us, as Paul wrote to the Corinthians in 1 Cor. 10:11, “Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.” See, even Paul, about 1975 years ago also believed with all his heart that Yeshua was coming back in his day. Friends we are already 56 years into the 7th millennium, the 7th day, Yahweh’s rest day. On Thursday, March 24th, 1955, Nisan 1, 5715 – Jewish, do you think the Israelis or anyone else in the world knew that the new millennium had just begun, beginning of 6001, spring reckoning? I doubt it. They did get a clue though, on their Independence Day in 1955, they celebrated their 7th Independence Day anniversary! What did Yahweh say in Leviticus 25:1-4, “And Yahweh spoke to Moses on Mount Sinai (Jabal Al Lawz in Northwest Saudia Arabia, google earth that!), saying, 2“Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When you come into the land which I give you, then the land shall keep a sabbath to Yahweh. 3Six years you shall sow your field, and six years you shall prune your vineyard, and gather its fruit; 4but in the seventh year there shall be a sabbath of solemn rest for the land, a sabbath to Yahweh. You shall neither sow your field nor prune your vineyard.” Ok, some believe the Sabbath year should have started on Yom Kippur in the fall of 1954, towards the beginning of the Jewish civil year 5715, others believe that the Sabbath year would start on Nisan 1, March 24, 1955. Either way, on Independence Day in 1955, in the seventh year since coming into the Promised Land again, the true creation of Adam calendar year of 6001, the 7th millennium, Israel should have been at rest, even the land, the animals, the servants, everyone. Did anyone rest that year? I don’t know, I was a baby, but I doubt it, because according to the Jewish calendar, they were only in year 4 of their Sabbath year cycle. They didn’t get it. The Church didn’t get it. We never get it. That’s why we need Yeshua. Today, we are 56 years into this new seventh millennium, seventh day of creation, rest 1,000 years. Are you resting? Is Yahweh? Is Yeshua? We are way past any 40-year wilderness transition phase in history. Yahweh has stretched His mercy about as far as He is going to. He’s tired of the world the way it is. I can guarantee you I am tired of the world period. Ok, so Israel and all of us profaned Yahweh’s Sabbath year in 1955, what do we do now? John the Baptist said it well in 4072 = 26 CE in Matthew 3:2, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!” Can I say it any louder? We are literally out of time. Forget Daniel’s time of the end. We are at the open door to heaven at the end of time. Yeshua is not knocking on the door anymore, He has flat out kicked it wide open in preparation for His second Triumphal Entry to earth. You may laugh, you may mock, though I don’t recommend it, but you must repent! The earth is splitting open at the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico, we’re on the verge of WWIII, kicking Iran’s butt is just the triggering event folks. If you can handle it read Daniel 8. Daniel was about 80 years old when he received the visions of chapter 8, in the 3rd year of Belshazzar, King of Babylon, in 3587 = 460 BCE. The first vision is America (the leader of the Greek-minded West) winning the battle against Iran (Persia), but losing the war in the Kingdom of Yahweh. Sure, we should pray for our troops in harm’s way, but pray they get saved before they get . . . home. It’s time to repent and turn to Yeshua. He’s our only hope yesterday, today, and forever. He’s sending His reapers, I hope they recognize you and mark you for the sheepfold. If you still believe Amerika is going to remain a world superpower, read Daniel 7:4, “The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings. I watched till its wings were plucked off; and it was lifted up from the earth and made to stand on two feet like a man, and a man’s heart was given to it.” Daddy has already stood up, and He’s about to speak to America, face to face.
Oh boy, that little paragraph came from Isaiah 56:1, are you ready for verse 2? Vs 1-2, “Thus says Yahweh: “Keep justice, and do righteousness, For My salvation is about to come, And My righteousness to be revealed. 2Blessed is the man who does this,
And the son of man who lays hold on it; Who keeps from defiling the Sabbath, And keeps his hand from doing any evil.”” Ok, we already know we defiled the whole Sabbath year of 1955, not just the Sabbath days, and we’ve profaned and defiled every Sabbath year, since creation for all I know. And what do I know? Not much, but let me share my personal experience, which I do not share with many people, but I feel now is the time to share it. Since I don’t live in Israel, I don’t follow the Sabbath years they should be following, so I fall back on the standard of the Jubilee Cycle calendar from the Exodus. This is an example folks. Ok, from my birth, the 1st Sabbath year I should have rested was in 1960 CE. I don’t remember doing anything but going to school. Yeah, that was restful. The 2nd Sabbath year I should have rested was in 1967 CE, the year of the liberation of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount! Israel should have rested with me, but I doubt either of us did. The 3rd Sabbath year in which I should have rested was in 1974 CE, the year in which I was first married. That would have been a biblical and righteous year to take off, but I was in the Air Force and couldn’t, let alone know I was supposed to. The 4th Sabbath year I should have rested was in 1981 CE. That year, instead of resting, I began my accounting career. Oh boy. The 5th Sabbath year in which I should have rested was in 1988 CE. That year I was an unemployed missionary in Alaska, so maybe I did rest without knowing it, and Yahweh will give me a break on that one. The 6th Sabbath year in which I should have rested was in 1995 CE. I don’t remember much about that year, but that I worked my buttocks off, and was forced to buy my first brand new truck for commuting to “work”. Yeah, that was restful. The 7th Sabbath year in which I should have rested was in 1996 CE, the 72nd Jubilee year, reckoning from the Exodus, as Yahweh told Moses in Exo. 12:2, “This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you.” When Yahweh says it’s the beginning, it’s the beginning. The Jubilee year is a rest year per Leviticus 25:10, “And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family.” Huh, that year I was called to Bible college in Colorado, where most all of my family was at that time. Huh. It didn’t feel like a rest year, which I knew nothing about anyway, but I was stumbling along Yahweh’s path, nonetheless. Yeshua said the Father would drag us to Him; I was feeling a little dragged out. The 8th Sabbath year in which I should have rested was in 2002 CE. That year my wife packed up and moved back to her parents’ home to care for her ailing mother. I was too dumb or numb to realize she didn’t want to come back. I also wrecked my daughter’s classic ’73 Ford crew cab pickup and almost killed the lady I smashed into. Oh yeah, I got arrested right there in the intersection, too. I was not DUI, oh no, I was Dumb Unintelligent Idiot, no drivers license. Ah, those were the days my friend. Yahweh really was trying to get me to rest. Oh, and instead of resting in jail, I bailed myself out. Isn’t the prosperity gospel wonderful? And have I mentioned how tired I was? I was becoming a beastly animal. The 9th Sabbath year in which I was supposed to rest was last year, 2009 CE. At least last year, I knew it was a Sabbath year, even on my Version 3.0 profane timeline, thanks to Richard Clover’s incredible work in discovering the true Shemitah Sabbath rest years. I will forever be in his debt. I sent him a free copy of Version 4.5 of my Sacred Chronology as a small token of thanks. The conclusion is that so far in my life, according to Yahweh’s Jubilee Calendar, not mine, I owe Him and my “land” 9 years of rest. Well, I lost my cash cow job in the fall of 2004, so let’s say I rested in 2005 (until we got evicted, anyway), 2006, 2007 (in full-time ministry, which was exhausting rest), 2008 (in full-time ministry, which was exhausting rest, and I did work for money for 3 days, does that count?), and I sort of rested in 2009, and am sort of resting in 2010, discounting the couple months grinding cow bones and playing in ceramic dust. Actually, this first year of new marriage has been a wonderful year of rest. If I rest the rest of 2010, that’s only 6 years of sort of rest. He still wants me to rest 3 more years before He returns, or the next Sabbath year, whichever comes first. Wow, did I mention how tired I was? So, you see folks, we are always defiling Yahweh’s Sabbaths, and even His sanctuary, our body, His Temple. We’re sinners, that’s why we need Yeshua. We cannot keep His Torah, even when we really want to. Not until this sinful body of death is replaced with an immortal body, free from sin, will we ever be able to keep His Law, but then it will be first nature to us. Until that Great Day of Yahweh when we are changed in the twinkling of an eye, all we can do is try to please Him. He knows our condition. He planned for our condition. He has already solved our condition. His name is Yeshua HaMashiach, Jesus Christ, our Savior, King of kings, Master of all masters. Run to Him and take a daily drink. He wants you to.
About one year ago, while moving in or just after moving in to my wife’s homey mountain cabin with her, while she was telling me how much she would like to remodel the house, Yahweh, spoke to her and told her that the house would last 10 years, but we would only need it for 3 years. Wow, is He Mister Economic Efficiency or what? Now, we’re down to 2 years, buckle your seatbelts, the stuff if really about to hit the fan. That’s not a prediction, that’s just a little daily drink.
Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem, that He would come back NOW and save all Israel.
