The True Hope of True Israel

Titus 1:14, “not giving heed to Jewish fables and commandments of men who turn from the truth.”
When Yeshua came the first time, He preached the Kingdom of Yahweh, the eternal, spiritual kingdom. He was severely persecuted by the Hebrew religious leaders of His day and ultimately murdered by them, because He did NOT preach or teach a restoration of the natural, carnal Kingdom of Israel. Paul was persecuted by the Hebrew leaders of his day, and ultimately taken to Rome in chains, because he preached an eternal Kingdom in the Spirit, NOT a restoration of the physical Kingdom of natural Israel.
In regards to natural Israel and the promises made to them, all was fulfilled when Joshua and the children of Israel had subdued Canaan, Joshua 23:14, “Behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth. And you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which Yahweh your Mighty One spoke concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one word of them has failed.” Yahweh had no more obligation to the natural seed of Israel, they broke all the conditional covenants anyway. In 640 BCE, Shalmaneser, King of Assyria, destroyed the northern natural Kingdom and Nation of Israel. It is gone forever and has not and will never rise again. In 507 BCE, Nebuchadnezzar II, King of Babylon, destroyed the southern Kingdom of Israel. It is gone forever and has not and will never rise again. All promises to the natural seed of Abraham in regards to the land of Canaan were fulfilled when all Israel returned to the Promised Land after the 70 years captivity in Babylon; Ezra 2:70 and Nehemiah 7:73 show that all Israel returned to the Land after the Babylonian captivity. The divided kingdom was never spoken of again upon the return to the land. In 70 CE, the Roman General Titus, later Emperor of Rome, captured Jerusalem and destroyed the second Temple, thus destroying forever the Nation of Israel. It is gone forever and has not and will never rise again.
The natural, humanistic, secular State of Israel that you see in the Middle East today was NOT established by Yahweh, nor will ever be established by Yahweh. It was formed by the globalist-minded United Nations, beginning with the Palestine Resolution No. 181, on November 29, 1947 CE. Modern Israel as a nation continues to reject their Messiah, just the same as their forefathers did in the days of Yeshua’s earthly walk. What is happening and what will be happening soon in Israel in regards to restoration of a temple or tabernacle or an altar is the work of anti-messiah, not the Messiah of true Israel. The counterfeit kingdom of natural Israel was begun by Yahweh’s enemy in 1947 and will continue to pursue his ends, not Yahweh’s.
Let’s take a look at 10 little verses in Ezekiel that makes it plain that Yahweh is not interested in restoring a natural kingdom or nation of Israel. Ezekiel 16:53-63, “53“When I bring back their captives, the captives of Sodom and her daughters, and the captives of Samaria and her daughters, then I will also bring back the captives of your captivity among them, 54that you may bear your own shame and be disgraced by all that you did when you comforted them. 55When your sisters, Sodom and her daughters, return to their former state, and Samaria and her daughters return to their former state, then you and your daughters will return to your former state.” Yahweh is stating in verses 53 and 55 that if He were to bring Sodom and Samaria back from destruction, then He will bring Natural Israel back from destruction. Yahweh has not intention of ever bringing Sodom or Samaria back from destruction, so He will never bring natural Israel back from destruction. The finality of the destroyed state of natural Israel could not be made any plainer.
“56For your sister Sodom was not a byword in your mouth in the days of your pride, 57before your wickedness was uncovered. It was like the time of the reproach of the daughters of Syria and all those around her, and of the daughters of the Philistines, who despise you everywhere. 58You have paid for your lewdness and your abominations,” says Yahweh. 59For thus says Sovereign Yahweh: “I will deal with you as you have done, who despised the oath by breaking the covenant. 60“Nevertheless I will remember My covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish an everlasting covenant with you. 61Then you will remember your ways and be ashamed, when you receive your older and your younger sisters; for I will give them to you for daughters, but not because of My covenant with you. 62And I will establish My covenant with you. Then you shall know that I am Yahweh, 63that you may remember and be ashamed, and never open your mouth anymore because of your shame, when I provide you an atonement for all you have done,” says Sovereign Yahweh.’”” Verse 59 clearly shows that natural Israel broke the Old Covenant. Yahweh’s plan moved to the New Covenant of a spiritual Israel, as shown in verse 60. Verse 61 shows that Yahweh will give Israel spiritual daughters, but not according to the old broken, abolished covenant, but according to the everlasting covenant in the blood of the Lamb of Yahweh. In verse 63, Yahweh clearly shows that He will make an atonement for Israel under the everlasting covenant, which we know is sealed in the blood of Yeshua. The only future for any human, Jew or Gentile, is in repentance from our sin and receiving spiritual salvation in the spiritual Kingdom of our Spiritual Mighty One, Yahweh, through the everlasting atoning work of our Spiritual Savior, Yeshua HaMashiach. All men must be saved through the Gospel of Yeshua, our Messiah, and no other way. There is no special treatment for the natural seed of Abraham, not then, not now, not ever.
Next time, we’ll explore Paul’s writing to the Romans. Maybe we’ll begin with 9:6-9, “But it is not that the word of Yahweh has taken no effect. For they are not all Israel who are of Israel, 7nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but, “In Isaac your seed shall be called.” 8That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of Yahweh; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed. 9For this is the word of promise: “At this time I will come and Sarah shall have a son.””
