The Millennial Reign of Messiah Yeshua
This is a great, but short study. This will not be an all inclusive study. We will attempt to answer a few questions as we look into this period in history. First let’s turn to the Book of Revelation, Chapter 20. Verses 1-6 occur approximately in the year 6001, the Devil, or Satan, is bound for 1,000 years. Rev 20:1-6 “And I saw an angel coming down out of Heaven, having the key of the abyss, and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he laid hold of the dragon, the old serpent who is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, 3 and threw him into the abyss, and shut him up, and put a seal over him, that he should not still lead astray the nations, until the thousand years are fulfilled. And after these things, he must be set loose a little time. 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them. And judgment was given to them, and the souls of the ones having been beheaded because of the witness of Yeshua, and because of the Word of Yahweh, and who had not worshiped the beast nor its image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand. And they lived and reigned with Messiah a thousand years. 5 This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is the one having part in the first resurrection. The second death has no authority over these, but they will be priests of Yahweh and of His Messiah, and will reign with Him a thousand years.” 6001
Not much is known about this 1,000 year period, but we’ll try to find a few things mentioned in the Bible. One thing we know about this period of time is that Yeshua will rule the earth with a Rod of Iron. See Ps 2:9; Rev. 11:15; Rev. 12:5; Rev. 19:15. That means the rule of Iron Law. What Iron Law? The Torah! The Sabbath and the Feasts of Yahweh will be the Law upon the whole earth. Multiplied millions of human laws will be done away with, and we will live by the 613 laws found in the Torah/Tanakh. We will also see the restoration of Israel, Amos 9:11-15.

Now let’s move forward 1,000 years and see what happens in the year approximately 7001. Rev 20:7-15, “And whenever the thousand years are completed, Satan will be set loose out of his prison,
Rev 20:8 and he will go to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to assemble them to war (I believe this is the Ezekiel 38 war), whose number is as the sand of the sea. 9 And they went up over the breadth of the land and encircled the camp of the saints, and the beloved city. And fire from Yahweh came down out of Heaven and consumed them. 10 And the Devil leading them astray was thrown into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet were. And they were tormented day and night for ages to ages. 11 And I saw a Great White Throne, and the One sitting on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled; and a place was not found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, the small and the great, standing before Yahweh. And books were opened. And another Book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged out of the things written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead in it. And death and the grave gave up the dead in them. And they were each judged according to their works.
14 And death and the grave were thrown into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death. 15 And if anyone was not found having been written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the Lake of Fire.”
Do we come instantly back with Yeshua after the rapture/resurrection? I believe there may be a week, or possible 3 weeks, with Yeshua, for a wedding feast during the month of Tishri, before returning to earth to reign, but we are coming back to earth: Rev 5:10 and made them kings and priests to our Divine One; and they shall reign on the earth. We saw above in Rev. 20:4-5 that we reign with Him for 1,000 years. Here we see that it is on earth, not in heaven.
Do we go to heaven? Maybe for 1-3 weeks to include a marriage supper and wedding feast, during the Feast of Tabernacles. Rev 19:7-9, “Let us rejoice and let us exult, and we will give glory to Him, because the marriage of the Lamb came, and His wife prepared herself. 8 And it was given to her that she be clothed in fine linen, pure and bright; for the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints. 9 And he said to me, Write: Blessed are the ones having been called to the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he said to me, These Words of Yahweh are true.” The Feast of Tabernacles rehearses this future marriage supper and wedding, but it won’t last more than a week, we return to earth with Yeshua. Rev 19:14, “And the armies in Heaven followed Him on white horses, being dressed in fine linen, white and pure.” Notice the direction of travel, from Heaven to earth.
When are the others judged and taken away? When Yeshua returns to earth, Matthew 25:31-46; Daniel 7:13ff; Daniel 2:44-45
What happens to the unsaved at the rapture/resurrection? Most die in Yahweh’s wrath. Isa 63:1-6; Rev. 19:11-21; Obadiah 1:15-21
Second death White Throne judgment is when? Approximately 7001. Rev. 20:11-15.
Will the unsaved be alive during the millennial reign? Yes. See Zechariah 14.
When is Gog and Magaog war? There are two Gog Magog wars, in my humble opinion. The Ezekiel 39 war occurs approximately 6001, and the Ezekiel 38 war occurs approximately 7001. You can find studies related to this on the internet.
