IS YESHUA A FALSE PROPHET?
IS YESHUA A FALSE PROPHET?
The first part of this post comes from the First Fruits of Zion ministry in Colorado. It goes well with this weeks Torah portion.
BEGIN FIRST FRUITS OF ZION WEEKLY EDRASH:
The Torah itself clearly states in many places that its laws are eternal, never to be abolished. And even the Christians acknowledge that the Jewish Bible is the word of God. If the Torah is eternal and Jesus himself claims to have no intention of abolishing or changing it, why do the Christians [disregard the commandments] …which are clearly spelled out in the Torah? (Pinchas Stolper, The Real Messiah).
This week’s Torah portion: Re’eh

Is Jesus A False Prophet?
Deuteronomy 13. A prophet is a spokesperson for God. Prophets are often asked to verify their authenticity with a particular sign or wonder. Deuteronomy 13 warns us that even if the would-be prophet’s sign or wonder does succeed and his prediction does come to pass, he might still be a false prophet. Signs and wonders are not the final proof. If the prophet attempts to dissuade you “from the way in which the LORD your God commanded you to walk,” (13:5) you are to disregard him as a false prophet. The way in which God commanded us to walk is the Torah and its commandments. Deuteronomy warns us that we must not listen to such a prophet, even if his ministry comes with amazing signs and wonders. Instead, we are to “follow the LORD…keep His commandments, listen to His voice…” (13:4)
If the would-be prophet counsels us to break any of the commandments, he must be deemed a false prophet. For example, an alleged prophet who declared that God had sanctioned an adulterous relationship can be immediately identified as a false prophet because He has contradicted Torah. God cannot contradict Himself.
Moses says that a false prophet might be allowed to perform signs and wonders in order to test Israel’s fidelity to Torah. The Master warns us that “false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders.” (Matthew 24:24)
Sadly, the traditional understanding and presentation of the Christian Jesus is that he was a prophet (and more than a prophet), attested by signs and wonders, but that he also cancelled the Torah. Such a person fits Deuteronomy 13’s description of a false prophet perfectly. According to Deuteronomy, conversion to faith in such a person would be a violation of God’s own commandments. Thus Judaism rightly rejects him. Yet the real Yeshua of the Gospels is not such. He is a prophet (and more than a prophet) attested to by signs and miracles, who called Israel to submit their lives to the highest standards of Torah.
This explains why His opponents among the Judean leadership labored so hard to find some way of demonstrating that He was a breaker of Torah. If they could prove that He was teaching against Torah, they could invalidate His claims. They were unable to do so. Nevertheless, we have consistently presented Him as a prophet teaching against the Torah. We need to rethink this. A Messiah that breaks Torah and teaches others to do so is no Messiah at all.

Deuteronomy 13, ““If there arises among you a prophet or a dreamer of dreams, and he gives you a sign or a wonder, 2and the sign or the wonder comes to pass, of which he spoke to you, saying, ‘Let us go after other gods’—which you have not known—‘and let us serve them,’ 3you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams, for Yahweh your Mighty One is testing you to know whether you love Yahweh your Mighty One with all your heart and with all your soul. 4You shall walk after Yahweh your Mighty One and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice; you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him. 5But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has spoken in order to turn you away from Yahweh your Mighty One, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of bondage, to entice you from the way in which Yahweh your Mighty One commanded you to walk. So you shall put away the evil from your midst.
6“If your brother, the son of your mother, your son or your daughter, the wife of your bosom, or your friend who is as your own soul, secretly entices you, saying, ‘Let us go and serve other gods,’ which you have not known, neither you nor your fathers, 7of the gods of the people which are all around you, near to you or far off from you, from one end of the earth to the other end of the earth, 8you shall not consent to him or listen to him, nor shall your eye pity him, nor shall you spare him or conceal him; 9but you shall surely kill him; your hand shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hand of all the people. 10And you shall stone him with stones until he dies, because he sought to entice you away from Yahweh your Mighty One, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. 11So all Israel shall hear and fear, and not again do such wickedness as this among you.
12“If you hear someone in one of your cities, which Yahweh your Mighty One gives you to dwell in, saying, 13‘Corrupt men have gone out from among you and enticed the inhabitants of their city, saying, “Let us go and serve other gods”’—which you have not known—14then you shall inquire, search out, and ask diligently. And if it is indeed true and certain that such an abomination was committed among you, 15you shall surely strike the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying it, all that is in it and its livestock—with the edge of the sword. 16And you shall gather all its plunder into the middle of the street, and completely burn with fire the city and all its plunder, for Yahweh your Mighty One. It shall be a heap forever; it shall not be built again. 17So none of the accursed things shall remain in your hand, that Yahweh may turn from the fierceness of His anger and show you mercy, have compassion on you and multiply you, just as He swore to your fathers, 18because you have listened to the voice of Yahweh your Mighty One, to keep all His commandments which I command you today, to do what is right in the eyes of Yahweh your Mighty One.”
From Yeshua’s Olivet Discourse we read in Matthew 24:3-5, “Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” 4And Yeshua answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.” Yeshua continues in verse 11, “Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.” This is a specific reference to the principles of Deuteronomy 13 for determining who is a false prophet. The disciples knew where to look to find out how to discern who is a false prophet. We need to do the same. Deuteronomy 13 gives us this foundational premise. Yeshua continues again in verses 23-25, “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. 24For false messiahs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25See, I have told you beforehand.” And in this context of the end times with the backdrop foundation of Deuteronomy 13, what will be the deception at the end of days? So-called Christian teachers and preachers saying that Jesus Christ delivered us from the commandments of Torah!! The commandments of Yahweh were nailed to the cross, so we don’t have to follow them! But go back a few verses in chapter 24 and see verse 20 again, “And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath.” Yeshua is expecting His disciples, His followers, His believers, His Christians, His bride to be OBSERVING THE SABBATH IN THE END TIMES!!!!
Yeshua NEVER taught anyone to disobey or ignore the Torah commandments. Yeshua took the letter of the Torah to the spiritual level of our thought life. You know, lusting in your heart now equals committing physical adultery. Yeshua raised the Torah bar from the letter of the Law to obedience in the Spirit. We have been called to be holy priests and kings in a holy nation and Kingdom of a holy spiritual Mighty One. Leading Yahweh’s flock away from Torah leads them away from Yahweh. Yeshua would never do it, we should never do it either. We should always encourage Yahweh’s people to be faithful to Torah and Yeshua.
When Yeshua returns to earth and establishes Yahweh’s Kingdom on this planet, what Law do you think He will govern by? Do you think Yeshua will rule by the Lesbian Homosexual agenda? Do you think He will rule by the demonic oppression of Islamic Sharia law? What do you think will be the teeth behind ruling with a rod of iron? Yeshua will rule by His own Law, the Torah!! Long before men were on the earth and created human governments and law, Yahweh and Yeshua had already worked out His Kingdom Law. Yahweh observed Sabbath on the 7th day of creation, about 2,500 years before Moses wrote it down in the 10 commandments. Come on people, step back and look at the long-term Kingdom of Yahweh throughout eternity. Satan rebelled and broke Yahweh’s law, that’s why he is doomed to destruction. Yeshua came to restore Yahweh’s Law and government. The Law of Liberty and the Law of Grace are the pinnacle principles of that Government. Kosher food laws are good for us, not bad for us.
Our world economy is going to collapse because we refuse to follow Yahweh’s economic Law of the Jubilee. Yeshua is our perfect Doctor. Human doctors and pharmacists are mostly witch doctors and sorcerers. And for some deceptive reason, humans refuse to repent of following doctors and pharmacists right up to Yeshua’s return. Revelation 9:21, “And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries (drugs) or their sexual immorality or their thefts.” We are truly sick in the heart. The world, the flesh, and the Devil are against Yahweh’s Kingdom and Law. Yeshua is returning soon to set this world right. I hope you’re ready to meet Him and submit to His glorious government and Law!! The key to getting ready is the Key of David, master repentance like David did!!
The Mark of the Beast may not be an RFID chip in your hand or forehead, it may very well be an evil spirit of DECEPTION that teaches Yahweh’s people to turn from Yahweh and His Laws and ways to follow the One World Order of things. A false prophet is a beast, deserving capital punishment. If you just believe and follow all the lies that worldly authorities feed you, thus causing you to slip away from Yahweh’s Kingdom, you are in serious spiritual danger right now. Repent and believe the Gospel of Yeshua HaMashiach.
