In The Eleventh Year
Ezekiel 30:20, “And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first month, on the seventh day of the month, that the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,”
Ezekiel 31:1, “Now it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the third month, on the first day of the month, that the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,”
Ezekiel 26:1, “And it came to pass in the eleventh year, on the first day of the month, that the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,”
Ezekiel received several prophecies in the eleventh year of his and King Jehoiachin’s captivity in Babylon. The year was about 590 BCE; it was the 10th year of King Zedekiah on the throne in Jerusalem; it was King Nebuchadnezzar’s 18th year on the throne of Babylon. What is significant for us to know about Ezekiel’s 11th year of captivity? Well, it was exactly ONE YEAR BEFORE JERUSALEM WAS CAPTURED AND THE TEMPLE DESTROYED!!
I’ve stated in previous posts that America is in the 11th year of its judgments from September 11, 2001. So what, you say? Well, notice the Scripture references above, one of them is from Ezekiel 26. So, here’s the verse Yahweh gave us this week, the week that Whitney Houston perished from the earth. Ezekiel 26:13, “I will put an end to the sound of your songs, and the sound of your harps shall be heard no more.” Ok, now I want you to think back to the days of the Exodus. What did Yahweh judge in Egypt? He judged the Egyptian’s idols. Folks, America is under Yahweh’s judgment. The pundits say that Michael Jackson was the king of pop music. He perished a couple years ago. They say that Whitney Houston was the queen of pop music. She perished this week. Yahweh is in the process of taking down America’s idols.
Americans love their money. Yahweh began taking down our money on Elul 29, 2001, September 17th, when the stock market crashed less than a week after 9/11. Yahweh judged our financial system again, exactly 7 years later, on Elul 29, 2008, September 29th, with the stock market crash that has put the world in a world of hurt.
You can say what you will about Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, or even the king of rock and roll, Elvis Presley. The thing is, their estates continue to make money, even after they are dead. They were used to make many people rich during their life, and in death they continue to enrich many people. Elvis Presley’s estate made over 50 million dollars in 2011, while Michael Jackson’s estate made over 170 million dollars. Whitney Houston’s estate is making millions in just a few days from her death! America is in love with its money! Yahweh will judge all our idols and bring America down, unless we repent as a nation.
It’s past time to fall on our knees and repent of our sins and ask for Yahweh’s forgiveness. He wants us to love Him more than anything else in the universe. Money did not save Elvis, Michael, or Whitney. Money will not save you. Yahweh is our only Redeemer and King!! We need a spiritual revival, a spiritual awakening in America, now, today. We need to see a repentant spirit fall on all Americans, from our top leaders to the least of these, my brethren. I don’t see a change in America’s spirit of defiance, yet, but I’m still hopeful. Our hope is in Yeshua, our Savior and Master. For 11 years now, America has defied Yahweh’s judgment of 9/11. Instead of repenting and turning to Yahweh in the wake of 9/11, we’ve defied Him and vowed to rebuild, stronger, bigger, and better than we were before 9/11. It won’t work, folks. Sin is a reproach to a nation. America is steeped in sin, from the top to the very bottom, inside and out. As we continue in a spirit of defiance as a nation, we virtually guarantee our destruction in judgment.
I don’t know what judgment Yahweh may bring on America next. I don’t know if we’ll make it through the next Jewish Sabbatical year, to Elul 29, 2015. If we do make it that far, it will be by Yahweh’s mercy and grace alone. I don’t even like to think about what could possibly be our next judgment, a tsunami from the Canary Islands, Yellowstone super volcano, gigantic earthquake on the west coast, another terrorist attack? I don’t know. Yahweh has all of nature at His disposal to bring judgment upon America. Remember how Yahweh used foreign militaristic nations to judge His people Israel? He could do that to America. In fact, He is doing that to America. We have not won a war since WWII. Our will to win a war has already been broken, from the Korean War forward. Russia and China do not like America. The Muslim nations do not like America. He could use any one of them to bring about America’s final destruction.
If we continue to idolize our money, Yahweh will destroy the dollar. If we continue to idolize celebrities, Yahweh will bring them down. And what about America’s insane idolatry in the realm of sports? Maybe that will be our next judgment. I’m amazed that we were not attacked during the Super Bowl this year. Watch for Yahweh to judge America’s sports idolatry. Do Americans love their cars and trucks? Ha! If we continue to idolize our automobiles, Yahweh can judge them also. One good EMP (electro-magnetic pulse) attack, or one good solar storm, and your automobile becomes a boat anchor in an instant. So much for idolatry.
