FASTEST BOAT RIDE OF YOUR LIFE
Are you ready for the fastest boat ride of your life? I hope so, because if you’re not, eternity may last longer than you’d like. The boat ride I’m talking about is the soon coming resurrection/rapture of Yahweh’s saints. If you are not in His Ark right now, you are in danger of eternal damnation. Repent of your sin, turn your life over to Yeshua HaMashiach, Jesus Christ, right this moment. You may only have one more breath or one more heart beat. Don’t waste it.
Today, we’re going to look into the historical and prophetic story of Yeshua’s feeding of the five thousand, and events following,as found in Matthew 14:12-34, Mark 6:30-44, Luke 9:10-17, and John 6:1-14. We are going to have to go verse by verse, and sometimes word by word to unlock the prophetic types that we see in these passages. Let’s begin with Matthew 14:12-34 HRB “And having come, his disciples took the body [of John the Baptist] and buried it; and coming, they reported to Yeshua. 13And having heard, Yeshua withdrew privately from there in a boat, into a deserted place. And hearing, the crowds followed Him on foot out of the cities.” Yeshua began His public ministry AFTER John the Baptist was murdered. The first message for us today is to get out of the cities. Yahweh’s prophetic voices have been preaching this message for over one hundred years now. If you are keeping up with the daily news, you know why this urgent message has been going out. It’s past time to move your family out of the major cities into rural areas. Notice that it is people who heed Yeshua’s call that follow Him into the deserted places. You want to be one of Yeshua’s remnant people. Moving out of the large cities could mean the difference between physical life and death today and during the Tribulation.
“14And going out, Yeshua saw a great crowd and was filled with pity toward them. And He healed their diseases.” Yeshua’s compassion for you has not changed and never will. It is what is driving Him to return to earth and set up His Kingdom here. Look at the dimension that Mark adds to this story in Mark 6:34 HRB “And going out, Yeshua saw a large crowd, and had pity on them, because they were as sheep having no shepherd. And He began to teach them many things.” The sheep having no shepherd is a type of the apostasy of the Church in this end time. This is the great falling away that happens before the Antichrist is revealed. 2 Thessalonians 2:3 HRB “Do not let anyone deceive you in any way, because that [Judgment or Tribulation] Day will not come unless first there comes a great rebellion, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition.”
“15And evening coming, His disciples came near to Him saying, The place is deserted, and the hour is already gone by. Dismiss the crowds, that going away into the villages they may buy food for themselves.” And evening coming is speaking of the arrival of the end times. They are upon us today. The hour the disciples are talking about is the supper hour. The hour for feeding upon Yahweh’s Word is already past. The daylight hours for doing Yahweh’s work are over, the darkness of the end times is rapidly approaching.
“16But Yeshua said to them, They have no need to go away. You give them food to eat. 17But they said to Him, We have nothing here except five loaves and two fish.” The two fish are a type of the last two thousand years when the Gospel of Yeshua has been made available by the Church of Yeshua to the entire world. The five loaves represent the grace filled spiritual food the Church has been feeding the world for these last two thousand years. Yeshua has been feeding the Church and the Church has been feeding the world. It has been the Church’s responsibility to spread the Gospel of Yeshua to the entire lost world.
“18And He said, Bring them here to Me. 19And commanding the crowds to recline on the grass, and taking the five loaves and two fish, gazing up to Heaven, He blessed. And breaking, He gave the loaves to the disciples, and the disciples gave to the crowds.” Yeshua is more than capable of meeting ALL your needs, especially providing you the spiritual food for your soul. Nothing is beyond His compassionate care for you. You can trust Him to see you through the rough days ahead. Yeshua can multiply bread for you and your family and friends today just like He did 2,000 years ago. You really don’t need emergency food supplies if you are trusting Yeshua, but there is nothing wrong with being prepared for emergencies. Being prepared with spiritual food is much more important than stockpiling physical food.
“20And all ate and were satisfied. And they took up the remnant of the fragments, twelve baskets full. 21And the ones eating were about five thousand men, besides women and children.” The world is done eating the Word of Yahweh. The world as a whole has rejected Yahweh and His Word. People are fed up with hearing about Yeshua, Yahweh, and the Gospel message of salvation. They are satisfied in themselves that they can now do life on their own. Humanism is replacing the humble Christian walk with Yahweh. The twelve baskets full of food fragments represent the regathering of the twelve tribes of Israel, the remnant of Yahweh’s people. Notice that it is the disciples of Yeshua who are involved in this gathering of Yahweh’s chosen people!! This picture may be a type of the 144,000 Israelites in Revelation 7, who get saved, sealed, and preach the full Gospel of Yeshua during the Tribulation. Five is the number for grace. The message of Yahweh’s grace extended to man has reached all ethnic groups by this point in time. This is why the end has now come. Matthew 24:14 HRB “And this good news of the Kingdom shall be published in all the earth for a testimony to all the nations [ethnic groups], and then the end will come.”
“22And immediately Yeshua made His disciples get into a boat and to go before Him to the other side until He should dismiss the crowds. 23And having dismissed the crowds, He went up into the mountain alone to pray. And evening coming on, He was there alone.” The boat is a type for the protection of Yahweh’s saints during the Tribulation. Notice Yeshua intends for us to make it to the other side of the Tribulation! The dismissal of the crowds may be a picture of the closing of probation, or no more salvations until Judgment is over!! Yeshua going up into the mountain alone to pray is a type of Him returning to the Heavenly Sanctuary to intercede on our behalf as our High Priest during the Tribulation. Notice Yeshua alone praying in the Heavenly Sanctuary at the beginning of the darkest hour of human history! The day is finished, the night has come, when no man can work!! This is a clear picture of the dispensation of grace coming to an end and the Tribulation hour beginning. John 9:4 HRB “It is necessary for Me to work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day. Night comes when no one is able to work.”
“24But the boat was now in the middle of the sea [of Galilee], tossed by the waves, for the wind was against it.” The Sea of Galilee is a type of the sea of humanity. We see here a strong storm of adversity, antagonistic to believers. That word tossed, in the Greek, means TORTURE! We will be tortured by waves of persecution from men and demons. The winds of the world’s systems are contrary to us. The full force of Satan’s wrath will be poured out against believers, through evil humans by their evil One World Order, or government. Do not underestimate the clarity and severity of this type seen in this historical account of the crossing the Sea of Galilee. I want to interject John’s take on this scene from John 6:17-18 HRB “And entering into the boat, they were going across the sea to Capernaum. And darkness had already occurred, and Yeshua had not come to them. 18And the sea was aroused by a great wind blowing.” John makes it extremely clear that not only has the Tribulation begun, but the Great Tribulation is now upon the disciples! The Greek word John used here for great is MEGA. There can be NO doubt that John is speaking of the soon coming Great Tribulation. This is the same word, MEGA, used by Yeshua in Matthew 24:21 NKJV “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.” And take special notice, darkness has come, the Great Tribulation is in full swing, AND YESHUA HAS NOT COME FOR THE DISCIPLES!! There is no such thing as a pre-tribulation rapture!! Get over it, get used to it, and get ready for the Tribulation! With just a little spiritual discernment, you can clearly see this message in these passages. We, the disciples of Yeshua HaMashiach, are about to enter into the Tribulation period, prophesied for the last 2,600 years! But do not fear, Yeshua told us to go to the other side of this Great Tribulation.
“25But in the fourth watch of the night, Yeshua went out to them, walking on the sea. 26And seeing Him walking on the sea, the disciples were troubled, saying, It is a false vision! And they cried out from the fear. 27But immediately Yeshua spoke to them, saying, Be comforted! I AM! Do not fear.” The four watches of the night are a type of the history of faith, since Father Abraham believed Yahweh and it was accounted to him for righteousness. 1,000 years for the Patriarchs, 1,000 years for the Kingdoms of Judah and Israel, and 2,000 years for the Church of Yeshua in the Age of Grace. We are now coming to the close of human history as we know it, the fourth watch of the night. Notice that Yeshua, in this type, returns to earth, to His disciples, in the fourth watch of the night, during the waning moments of the Great Tribulation! This passage is a picture, a type, of the Second Coming of Yeshua, what I call Yeshua’s Advent 2.0! Notice Yeshua is OVER the sea of rebellious humanity. Notice the disciples as a type of believers today. Even though we know Yeshua and know His voice, when we see Him splitting the sky and returning to earth, we will still be startled, even fearful! But Yeshua will immediately speak peace and comfort to us, to calm our trembling hearts!! Oh what a day, THE DAY that we all are looking for! That day is rapidly coming, but not until the END OF THE GREAT TRIBULATION!! Get that in your understanding and DO NOT FEAR!
I would like to take just a moment to clarify what I see now as a poor translation in Mark’s version of this passage. Look at the last phrase of Mark 6:48, “. . .And He had desired to pass by them.” Investigate it for yourself, but a better translation would be “And He desired to come near them.” The Greek word, Strong’s #G3928, parerchomai, used here means to come near, to approach. Once you realize that this is the Bridegroom returning to His Bride after a two thousand year absence, you know Yeshua does not want to walk right past the boat, ignoring His Bride! His heart’s desire for the last two thousand years has been to come unto His bride and marry her!! Translators brains sometimes get in the way of their hearts. It’s true, sometimes spiritually blind men translate the physical words of Scripture, missing the spiritual picture being painted. Correct your Bible if you wish, it’s Yahweh’s love letter to you, saint, not to a blind translator.
“28And answering Him, Peter said, Master, if it is You, command me to come to You on the waters. 29And He said, Come! And going down from the boat, Peter walked on the waters to go to Yeshua. 30But seeing the wind strong, he was afraid, and beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, Master, save me! 31And immediately stretching out the hand, Yeshua took hold of him, and said to him, Oh you of little-faith, why did you doubt me?” Notice that upon Yeshua’s return to earth He commands the disciple to “Come!” This is the rapture/resurrection Voice command that the Apostle Paul spoke about in 1 Thessalonians 4:16 HRB “Because the Master Himself shall come down from Heaven with a commanding shout of an archangel’s voice, and with the trumpet of YAHWEH [see 1 Corinthians 15:52]. And the dead in Messiah will rise again first.”This picture of Peter walking on water, then becoming afraid after seeing the Great Tribulation around him and then beginning to sink, is a type of the shattering of the saints’ power that Daniel spoke about in Dan 12:7 NKJV “Then I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever, that it shall be for a time, times, and half a time; and when the power of the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished.” Look at that word “strong” in verse 30. It is Strong’s #G2478, ischuros, meaning not just strong, but forceful, or forcible. Have you ever heard the definition of civil government? Force! This phrase is relating a type of the One World Order of the Antichrist! It’s enough to scare the Apostle Peter! The boisterous strong storm on the sea of humanity is a type of the oppressive persecuting power of the OWO. I hope you’re getting this into your mind, the saints will experience severe persecution from the government of the Antichrist! But then we get raptured or resurrected! So rejoice dear saints, your day of final completely secured salvation into immortality is rapidly approaching.
“32And coming into the boat, the wind quieted down. 33And those in the boat came and worshiped Him, saying, Truly, You are the Son of Elohim.” I cannot emphasize enough how this story gives us a timeline of the Tribulation period. Notice that once Yeshua returns to the boat, to where He has supernaturally protected the saints, THEN AND ONLY THEN, is the Great Tribulation over!! Yeshua squashes the storm of the Antichrist’s One World Order! Wherever Yeshua sends us or takes us for protection during the Great Tribulation, fulfills the prophecy in Revelation 12:6 HRB “And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she had a place, it having been prepared from Elohim, that there they might nourish her a thousand two hundred and sixty days.” Yeshua’s return at His Advent 2.0 fulfills 2 Thessalonians 2:8 HRB “And then “the Lawless One” will be exposed, “whom our Master Yeshua will consume by the spirit of His mouth,” and will destroy by the brightness of His presence.” Notice the instantaneous destruction of the Antichrist’s kingdom when Yeshua steps into the boat, a type of His return to the Mount of Olives. Satan is immediately arrested and imprisoned for 1,000 years, see Revelation 20:2-3. Yeshua is the only One Who brings peace, safety, justice, quiet, security, prosperity, and just government upon His return to earth to set up His Kingdom in Jerusalem. The hour of Yeshua’s krisis [Judgment] is coming; I hope you’re ready to vote Him into office! It will be our Jubilee!!
“34And having passed over, they came to the land of Gennesar.” This passage is a type of the resurrection/rapture of the saints! Notice that it is AFTER Yeshua’s Advent 2.0! But it will happen!! I am a firm believer in the rapture! We all just need to understand when it is going to occur. Look at how John describes this event in John 6:21 HRB “Then they desired to take Him into the boat. And the boat was instantly at the land to which they were going.” Friends, this is the fastest boat ride of your life! Racing boats are fast, but they do not reach the finish line instantly!! This is a picture of the resurrection/rapture and our instantaneous translation to glory!! This is the twinkling of an eye experience that we’re all waiting for! 1 Corinthians 15:52 HRB “In a moment, in the blinking of an eye, at the last trumpet; for a trumpet will sound [the voice command of Yeshua, “Come!”], and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall all be changed.” Folks, your struggle will be over at this moment. It will happen, it is guaranteed through the blood of Yeshua by His Holy Spirit’s power. Please just settle it in your spirit that this resurrection/rapture event happens at the end of the Great Tribulation, upon Yeshua’s Advent 2.0! The Greek word used for “instantly” above is Strong’s #G2112, eutheōs, meaning at once, immediately, directly, straightway, forthwith. Friends, now look at where we end up, Gennesar, or Gennesaret. This is a transliterated word from the ancient Hebrew word kinnereth, Strong’s #H3672. It’s simple meaning is a harp, a type of the Heavenly Kingdom realm! Some say it means the Garden of Yahweh. It’s a type of the Garden of Eden. We’re returning to our beginning! I hope you’re ready. Repent immediately, if you need to, get your heart right with Yahweh and get ready for the fastest boat ride of your life!
