Come out of Whom?
The true Church or assembly of Yahuah has always been described as a woman in the Scriptures, but also the false church is also described as a woman. Rev 18:4, “And I heard another voice from the heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. “ Is this speaking of the Church of Yeshua, or the assembly of men? It is the prostituted assembly, the worldly, debauched church system. This is not a command to come out of the world system. You would have to leave earth to come out of the world system. Listen to what Yeshua says in John 17:15-18, “”I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You keep them from the wicked one. (16) “They are not of the world, as I am not of the world. (17) “Set them apart in Your truth – Your Word is truth. (18) “As You sent Me into the world, I also sent them into the world.” We are to be in the world, but not part of it. We have to be in the world in order to impact our culture for good with the Gospel. Listen to what Paul says in 1 Cor. 5:9-11, “I wrote to you in my letter not to keep company with those who whore. (10) And I certainly did not mean with those of this world who whore, or with the greedy of gain, or swindlers, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. (11) But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone called ‘a brother,’ if he is one who whores, or greedy of gain, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindler – not even to eat with such a one.” We are to come out of the harlot church, not out of the world. You have to die physically to come out of the world. 2 Cor. 1:12, “For our boasting is this: the witness of our conscience that we behaved (conducted) ourselves in the world in simplicity and sincerity of Yahuah, not in fleshly wisdom but in the favour of Yahuah, and much more toward you.” Phi. 2:15, “in order that you be blameless and faultless, children of Yahuah without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,” Col. 2:20-22, “If, then, you died with Messiah from the elementary matters of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations (of religious men): (21) “Do not touch, do not taste, do not handle” – (22) which are all to perish with use – according to the commands and teachings of men?” We are to come out of the religious whore of Babylon, the religious church system created by men (Jewish and Gentile). 1 John 2:15-17, “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. 17And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of Yahuah abides forever.” We are not to love the religious or worldly systems, nothing that is made by men are we to lust after. We are to pant after Yahuah and His truth and righteousness. The apostle John knew what this was all about, 1 John 4:1-17, “Beloved ones, do not believe every spirit, but prove the spirits, whether they are of Yahuah, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. (2) By this you know the Spirit of Yahuah: Every spirit that confesses that יהושע Messiah has come in the flesh is of Yahuah, (3) and every spirit that does not confess that יהושע Messiah has come in the flesh is not of Yahuah. And this is the spirit of the anti-messiah which you heard is coming, and now is already in the world. (4) You are of Yahuah, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. (5) They are of the world, therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. (6) We are of Yahuah – the one knowing Yahuah hears us. He who is not of Yahuah does not hear us. By this we know the Spirit of the Truth and the spirit of the delusion. (7) Beloved ones, let us love one another, because love is of Yahuah, and everyone who loves has been born of Yahuah, and knows Yahuah. (8) The one who does not love does not know Yahuah, for Yahuah is love. (9) By this the love of Yahuah was manifested in us, that Yahuah has sent His only brought-forth Son into the world, in order that we might live through Him. (10) In this is love, not that we loved Yahuah, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be an atoning offering for our sins. (11) Beloved ones, if Yahuah so loved us, we also ought to love one another. (12) No one has seen Yahuah at any time. If we love one another, Yahuah does stay in us, and His love has been perfected in us. (13) By this we know that we stay in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. (14) And we have seen and bear witness that the Father has sent the Son, Saviour of the world. (15) Whoever confesses that יהושע is the Son of Yahuah, Elohim stays in him, and he in Elohim. (16) And we have known and believed the love that Yahuah has for us. Yahuah is love, and he who stays in love stays in Elohim, and Elohim in him. (17) By this love has been perfected with us, in order that we might have boldness in the day of judgment, because as He is so are we in this world.”
If we are to come out of the world system, why is it in Revelation 18, that the merchants and traders of the world system stand by and watch as the whore of Babylon, the worldly church system, is thrown down, judged, and burned up? Revelation 18, “And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. (2) And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great (the harlot Church) is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. (3) For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. (4) And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her (the harlot Church), my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. (5) For her sins have reached unto heaven, and Yahuah hath remembered her iniquities. (6) Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. (7) How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. (8) Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is Yahuah Elohim who judgeth her. (9) And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, (10) Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. (11) And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: (12) The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, (13) And cinnamon, and odors, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. (14) And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all. (15) The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, (16) And saying, Alas, alas that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! (17) For in one hour so great riches is come to naught. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, (18) And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city! (19) And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate. (20) Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for Yahuah hath avenged you on her. (21) And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. (22) And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee; (23) And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. (24) And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.” There is a real possibility that this harlot church is specifically speaking of the Roman Catholic Church (and all her daughter church systems), who has persecuted the true church for millennia, but it could be the whole religious church system devised by men to deceive and take captive the souls of men, to keep them from the Kingdom of Yahuah. But notice that at this point in the Day of Yahuah, that it is NOT the world system of commerce that is being judged, it is a religious system that is being judged and burned down. It is so obvious that it is a religious system going down, that pagan Jewish and Gentile businessmen recognize it and bewail it. Now there is also the parallel possibility that this is talking about the “Jewish” religious system of oral traditions of the “Jewish” fathers. That system has also persecuted the true assembly for millennia. Since, in the end times, there are only going to be two churches, the bride (true Israel) and the harlot (false Israel), it is very possible that these prophecies are speaking of both the Catholic and Jewish religious systems, the false Gentile church, and the false Israelite church. In other words, all the false religious systems of men are coming down to pave the way for the one true King and His bride!! Are you in or are you out? Ready or not, here He comes!
