42 MONTHS
Without a Flyby to Adjust the Calendar
Many believers believe that the 42 months of Revelation 11:2 and 13:5 will equal the 3 ½ years (Dan. 7:25; 12:7. Rev. 12:14) and 1260 days (Rev. 11:3; 12:6) mentioned in these books. This will be possible if Yehovah provides a space body flyby that comes near enough to earth, or hits earth, to reset our calendar back to a 360 day year, with 12 equal 30 day months. But could the 42 month scenario work without a flyby calendar reset? Well, actually, yes, it could!!
Imagine that if the pre-wrath rapture were to occur, or the 3 ½ year Great Tribulation were to begin, on a near future Feast of Shavuot/Pentecost in a Hebrew intercalated 13 month year. Pentecost occurs in the 3rd month. So let’s begin our count with the third month of a 13 month year, this gives us 11 months to count inclusively in the first year. The following year, beginning with the 1st month, or Nisan, then, is a regular 12 month year. Let’s say then that the third year is another intercalated 13 month year. Then the 4th year we count the final 6 months from Nisan 1 to Tishri 1, Feast of Trumpets. So, we have 11 + 12 + 13 + 6 = 42 months in a possible Great Tribulation scenario, without a calendar adjusting space body flyby!! The Great Tribulation could begin with a future Feast of Shavuot and end with Yeshua’s return on the Feast of Trumpets, 42 months later! Yeshua returns to earth on that Feast of Trumpets to oversee 10 days of plague judgments, the woes/vials of Revelation. Judgment Day is finalized on the Day of Atonement, Tishri 10. Then we celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles, beginning Tishri 15, with Yehovah and Yeshua, in the Holy Spirit!!
The counts for 3 ½ years, 1260 days, 1290 days (Dan. 12:11), and 1335 days (Dan. 12:12) could all begin before the 42 month scenario just described above and all end at the same time in the month of Tishri in the 4th year of the Great Tribulation. Yeshua will fulfill the Fall Feasts of Yehovah with his Yeshua Advent 2.0©. The Church Age began at a Feast of Pentecost, the Church Age could easily end at a Feast of Shavuot/Pentecost, with a pre-wrath, or pre-Great Tribulation rapture. This is just another end time theory, but surely an exciting one!
