I keep finding cool words in the Hebrew as I study and edit my Son Of Man Bible (SOMB). I found the word that many English translations print as "incense altars", but a better literal translation should be "sun-pillars", probably a stone pillar with a gold, or bronze, sun disk mounted on top, for pagan worship of the sun. It's Strong's # H2553, take some time and look it up. The Hebrew word, chamman, is found 8 times in the First Covenant, the first instance appears in Leviticus 26:30, “I will destroy your high places, cut down your sun-pillars, and throw your corpses on the corpses of your idols, and I myself will abhor you.” Yehowah said he would destroy those images out of Israel. The good ancient Israeli kings did destroy them, the evil ancient Israeli kings worshiped at those sun-pillars. You can think of it today as Sunday sun-god worship. A certain Pope-led Church probably tried to hide that word from the masses, no pun intended.

The other 7 instances of that word are found in 2 Chronicles 14:5; 34:4; 34:7; Isaiah 17:8; 27:9; and Ezekiel 6:4 and 6:6. Humans have had issues with idolatry since the beginning of time. Ancient Israel was no different. They were constantly rejecting Yehowah, his word, his law, and his Ways, and followed after the pagan practices of the Canaanites and those who lived around the land of Israel and the Middle East.

The Roman Catholic Church just organized that pagan sun-god worship and created the largest cult religion in the world. As Marner is preaching today, according to Revelation 18:4, we’re to come out of that Babylonish pagan sun-god worship, so we won’t suffer the same judgment and punishment as that Church will soon face.

There is only One Person we’re to worship, that is Almighty Yehowah, Creator of Heaven and earth. He will be sending Yeshua back down to this planet soon to carry out His wrath and judgment against all wickedness, including religious idolatry. Repent today of all of your sins and idolatry. Seek forgiveness in Yeshua. Worshiping idols of any kind is not what you want to be doing when Yeshua shows up on earth to cleanse this planet with fire. Well, actually, he’s going to burn this mud ball to a crisp, into non-existence. There won’t even be any carbon ash left to scoop up into a container as a reminder of this old rock of sin. He is going to make all things new. Revelation 21:5, “The One who was seated on the throne said, “Look! I make all things new.” He said, “Write this down, because these words are faithful and true.”” I’m looking forward to that day, are you?
