Strong One of Jacob

I found a somewhat hidden but descriptive title for our Master, “Strong One”, first found in Genesis 49:24, as Strong One of Jacob and once stated as Strong One of Israel. Strong's # 46, is used 6 times in the First Covenant. It was hiding in my Son Of Man Bible as “Mighty One”, but since I had already used that title, I changed the newly discovered word to "Strong One" in the following six verses:

Genesis 49:24, “But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful because of the hands of the Strong One of Jacob, because of the name of the Shepherd (Yehowah-Ra’ah), the Rock (Yehowah-Eben) of Israel.”

Psalm 132:2, “Call to mind how he swore to Yehowah, how he vowed to the Strong One of Jacob.”

Psalm 132:5, “until I find a place for Yehowah, a tabernacle for the Strong One of Jacob.”

Isaiah 1:24, ““Therefore,” declares Lord Yehowah of the heavenly armed forces, Strong One of Israel: “Woe to them! I will take vengeance against my adversaries, and avenge myself against my enemies;””

Isaiah 49:26, “I will feed your oppressors with their own flesh; and they will get drunk on their own blood, as if it were wine. Then all mankind will know that I, Yehowah, am your Savior (Yehowah-Y’shua) and your Redeemer (Yehowah-Go’el), the Strong One of Jacob.”

Isaiah 60:16, “You will also drink the milk of the ethnicities and will nurse at the breast of kings; you will know that I, Yehowah, am your Savior (Yehowah-Yasha) and your Redeemer (Yehowah-Go’el), the Strong One of Jacob.”

Our Divine One is so great, there just are not enough words to describe his majesty. No title is awesome enough, high enough, large enough, or set apart enough to describe him. He is just magnificent and no title really does him Justice. But thank you, Abba Father, for letting me find another word to describe your power and might!
